Native Views on the Native Bills

This pamphlet reported views of Africans (sometimes called "Natives" at that time) in conferences throughout the country to the Native Acts proposed by the Hertzog government in 1925. Strong opposition was expressed to the proposal for Africans to be represented in Parliament by Europeans and the loss of the African franchise in the Cape. (Historical Document)
