Verne Harris is Project Manager for the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory at the Nelson Mandela Foundation and an honorary research associate at the University of the Witwatersrand. He has written widely about the significance of memory and archives in South Africa. He gave this presentation at Michigan State University on “Unfinished Business: The Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Memory, and Archives in South Africa.”
