Ben Kgoathe
Testimony by Ben Kgoathe before the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Human Rights Violations Committee in Johannesburg, April 29, 1996 Ben Kgoathe testified about the death in detention of his father, Nicodimus Kgoathe. Kgoathe was killed in detention in February 1969. Security policy claimed he slipped on soap while showering, but there was evidence that he had been beaten.
