This poem expresses the determination to overthrown apartheid and what such success would mean. (Poem)
Victoria Mxenge was a lawyer who became increasingly politically active after her husband, Griffiths, was killed by the secret police force headquartered at Vlakplaas. She herself was assassinated just before a trial in which she was assisting was to begin. 10,000 people attended her funeral.
